Worlds of Fun’s Festival of Music is accredited for school choir, band, and orchestra participation by the Missouri State High School Activities Association and comparable associations in neighboring states. Festival of Music is held in cooperation with the University of Central Missouri’s Department of Music. The Department of Music’s standards of excellence play a major role in making Festival of Music the Midwest’s premier competition. The combined staffs of the University of Central Missouri and Worlds of Fun are committed to making Festival of Music the best musical and educational experience in the Midwest.
